After approval of the First Article samples and pilot production, OPTIMAS becomes your operations department in China, handling all staff, management, planning of the Supply Chain, Quality and legal issues. All production planning is coordinated through OPTIMAS' proprietary Intranet Management software. All purchase orders are submitted to China through a secure system and orders and delivery dates are confirmed by suppliers within 24 hours.
OPTIMAS has fulltime software development engineers programming custom-made software. Supporting production and making effective communication to customers possible, the following functions are available:
- A database for all documents.
- Track drawings and revisions.
- Link manufacturing issues for each part number eliminating the need for emails and have the possibility of issues relate to part number being forgotten. All manufacturing issues related to a part number remain within the web based database tied to that part number and provide a historical trail.
- Track all purchase orders and shipping details.
- Establish first article schedules and evaluate days lost by either the client or OPTIMAS and record the overall efficiency of each project.
The software was designed to be web based so all parties can access information from any location they have internet access. Synchronized on the OPTIMAS Ningbo server and US and EU Server twice daily
